Britney Spears is getting ready for the "Circus"

The pop princess revealed the track list and art from her forthcoming sixth studio album on Friday, due for release on Brit's birthday, December 2. The highly anticipated "Circus" will feature her No. 1 hit "Womanizer" as well as eleven more songs, plus a bonus track, "Radar" which was also on her album "Black Out". And it's likely to be another hit for Brit -- "Womanizer" broke records for the biggest leap in Billboard's Hot 100 history, jumping from No. 96 to the top spot and selling 286,000 downloads in its first week.

Whitney's spin-off!

'The Hills' star, Whitney Port, is getting new show.

The show will have some big changes the 23-year-old fashionista on her upcoming New York City-set spin-off. Whitney will reportedly leave her job with People’s Revolution for a new gig with legendary designer Diane von Furstenberg. “She’s such an inspiration, I’d be honored to work for her,” Whitney told In Touch in 2008. 

In the running to share top billing with Whitney on the new show is Samantha “Sami” Swetra, a 22-year-old manager at Bergdorf Goodman. “I just met her a few weeks ago, so she wasn’t someone I already knew, but she’s a sweet girl,” says Whitney. “She’s seasoned in fashion and we get along really well.” An insider tells In Touch that the fiery Samantha could be the breakout star of the MTV spin-off. “Sami’s the perfect foil to Whitney’s ‘nice girl’ image — she’s sure to add a ton of drama!” says the insider. “Her circle of friends are a whole different breed — very high-fashion, not beachy like the girls of The Hills.” 

Whitney’s show is not her only new declaration of independence from Lauren Conrad and company. “I’m developing a clothing line,” she says. “It won’t be like Lauren’s stuff, which I loved. Mine will be a little more high-end.” Filming on Whitney’s show started August 27.

The 'Jaylor' split

Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift have called it quits, Us magazine reports in its new issue, on newsstands now. A source said the two dated for several months and split in early October. He broke up with her over the phone. "He broke her heart.", said the source. 

The country star, 18, and the Jonas Brothers singer, 19, never actually confirmed their relationship. "He's an amazing guy, and anyone would be lucky to be dating him," she told reporters at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

When questioned, reps for both stars declined any comments.

Nick's Super Sweet 16

We all know Nick Jonas turned 16, but how did he celebrate it?

The Jonas' rented out LA's Dodger Stadium on Thursday night from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. to celebrate Nick's 16th birthday with 15 of their closest friends (I wonder if Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, or Taylor Swift were on the guest list). So how much do you think this birthday bash cost? According to reports, about $30,000. Just renting the field alone starts at around $25 grand! And since the guys were playing at night, they needed to pay an extra $5,000 to have the stadium lights turned on. If they wanted to eat, food and drinks ran them $500, and if they wanted to pump their own music through the speakers that would have cost them another $500.

Hooking up with Tila Tequila

America's most famous bisexual model, Tila Tequila,

has decided to 'take a shot' at becoming an author.

The book, Hooking Up with Tila Tequila, offers Tila’s reflections on her journey from being Tila Nguyen, the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, to becoming an international sex symbol through her popularity on Myspace. Tila will also give advice on love, relationships, sex, and how to make your dreams turn into reality, just like she did.

“My fans write me every day with questions so I figured instead of responding and sitting there taking hours, I’ll just put all the answers in a book from all their questions,” Tila said in an interview with MTV Canada.

The book is said to release in December. Will you be reading?

From G's to Gents, Season Finale

Last night, Creepa won the title of a gentleman

Despite having grown up in a rough neighborhood, Creepa believed he was born to shine. He had endured many hardships during his young life. His father was shot and killed when he was just a baby, leaving his mother to depend on him for everything. As a G, Creepa thought he did what was necessary to survive and make a living in his hometown of Miami Gardens, Florida.

During the final elimination, Fonzworth Bentley, the host, recognized that Creepa had truly gone through the biggest transformation. Creepa now stood calm, refined, and proud. Fonzworth explains to Creepa and Shotta, the other G, that he is proud of Shotta's commitment and will reward him by paying for him to go to barber school. However, Shotta must show him that he can help himself, so his membership to the gentlemen's club was denied. Fonzworth then explains to Creepa how he has won and will recieve the hundred thousand dollars because Creepa hasn't been given the same opportunities that Shotta had. Fonzworth welcomed Creepa into the gentlemen's club and Creepa truly realized that you don't have to intimidate people in order to gain respect.

Creepa proved he could become a true gentleman. What do you think?

The end is near for MTV's TRL

It has recently been reported that the long-time MTV show, TRL (Total Request Live), will be saying it's goodbyes this November (for now, at least).

A rep for MTV stated that TRL will 'temporarily' be off the air as of November 2008, meanwhile, the rep assures us that this cancellation will not be for good, and that the show will be returning at a later date (no date specified as of yet).

TRL began in 1998, making 2008 it's tenth and 'final' year on the air.

Paris Hilton's My New BFF

The new show Paris Hilton's My New BFF premiere's Tuesday, September 30th at 10pm.

It's kind of self explanatory but it's about Paris Hilton's search for a new bestie. The contestants are fourteen girls and two guys all living under one roof, with new challenges each week to test their love and loyalty for the "it" chick, Ms. Hilton herself.  Credit: mtv.com

Paris was quoted saying, "When I was little, I loved to play with dolls and be in control of what they did. In my new show, I get to do it for real. Like my very own doll house." Wow, aren't the new friends lucky? They get to be controlled by Paris Hilton.

I don't know about you, but I'm really excited for this show. Now we all know Paris isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, so with her manipulating 16 fanatic BFF's, this is going to be good. 

I was just wondering, how in the world will these new bestie's compare to all of Paris' old famous friends? Such as Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, Tara Reid, and Britney Spears.

Tuesday, September 30th, we'll see if they can prove to be up to Paris' standards and become her new BFF. That's Hot!
